Dr. Aleksandra Gajer is the CMO and physician co-founder of Healthier. She is originally from Poland, but emigrated to the United States at age seven with her family.

Dr. Gajer received her Bachelor’s Degree at George Washington University in DC, then continued on to her M.D. at University of Maryland, Baltimore. She completed her medical studies with top honors and was inducted into the prestigious AOA medical honors society upon graduation. Dr. Gajer went on to do a four year academic residency program in Emergency Medicine at the The George Washington University.

Dr. Gajer lives in Northern Virginia with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys fitness activities including yoga, cycling, swimming and running. She also enjoys reading, music, and art.

Dr. Gajer has been practicing Emergency Medicine for nine years and has developed a strong interest in treating the root causes of disease. She co-founded Healthier with her partners to address health issues that were often too long ignored when patients were seen in the emergency department, leading to irreversible illness.
